Retro Games
I have not open or try this yet. I bought this so I don’t have to spend hours, days or weeks looking for all the roms online. It’s also a great way to preserve all the games from the past.

Wow
What a great game hard drive. I can’t find dig dug. That was my favorite.

Great value
I didn’t end up keeping what was on it, but didn’t feel that bad, since I still got a 12tb drive out of it. Worth experimenting and seeing what they put on these. It’s a bit overwhelming for me.

It’s has good things and bad things
We’ll do this in 2 parts.Good: It has A LOT of games and they seem to work 95% of the time. Drive setup was easy, simply plug it in.Bad: HyperSpin is essentially abandonware at this point. They haven’t had any updates in a long time and their download section has been offline for over a year.HyperSpin is not a stable solution. It frequently crashes, even with NES or Atari titles. Because of this, I deleted everything that is associated with HyperSpin and manually imported everything into Retroarch.I have this hard drive set as drive E: and, as you can see in the screenshot above, it does not come free of viruses. I knew this was a risk considering that it comes from Hong Kong, which is almost as bad as India for trying to steal your information and scams. This wasn’t much of a surprise. It was worse before I got rid of all the HyperSpin stuff. No, these are not false-positives in my scan. Not all games actually work. It’s hit or miss for some. Most of the problems come from disc-based games. MAME and cartridge-based games seem to be okay. It’s missing some hidden gems in some libraries. Xenosaga is a prime example of this. I ended up redumping my physical ISOs for this amazing trilogy.

2nd drive, returned 4 gb game drive just as good
I returned this because it is not as awesome as some people said it was, though this was from a different seller than techdweeb bought from, so i returned it, just like the other 12gb i bought (still waiting for my money) . Turns out my 4gb game drive is just as good. Did all the work arounds for pinball, but could not get kiss pinball nor high speed to work correctly. 2 different sellers, but they look like same crappy builds. Now i need a shoehorn to get my $500+ bucks back from amazon. Pathetic

Enclosure malfunctioning
The games do work, user interface is a bit clunky, but usable. The enclosure keeps shutting down, not allowing the drive to be read, the drive full off viruses and trojans, thank God for anti-virus software,,talking to seller helpful with bad enclosure.
