I liked this Comcast but the television I needed it for is unable to support 5g cable and I couldn’t connect to the Comcast.

This device DOES NOT CAST it MIRRORS
I have a chrome cast device at home, and I purchased this thinking it would work similarly and for a lower price. Unfortunately this did not work the same. I have an iPhone and tried “casting” from my YouTube and Prime Video Apps. If you try YouTube it will cast the video thumbnail and play audio, but the actual video plays only on my phone. On Prime no casting device was found, and airplay was unavailable. You have to go to the control center on your phone and choose to mirror your whole phone screen. The play back lags at times on YouTube, on Prime video a lot of the content is not permitted to be mirrored, and who wants to watch something with people and suddenly your text messages and notifications pop up on the tv. It also ties up your phone so you can’t use it and watch something at once without disrupting the video. The chrome cast I have allows you to cast from every app, and you can still use your phone to look up the next video or answer a text without everyone seeing your phone screen activity so I’m just going to get another chrome cast. I’m sure this is fine if you’re just trying to put your phone screen up to share something, but there are better products out there.

Only screen mirrors. Not direct
It worked great the 1st day and by the 2nd day it was slow, lagging, and glitching is nothing like a Chromecast it’s a screen mirroring instead of direct streaming

Full Fail out of the box
Impossible to make a connection to this device. Instructions say to connect to the Wi-Fi signal it transmits. My video review shows nothing but blanks where there should be a network to connect to. Full fail. Returning for refund

Great product, documentation unclear
The item is really excellent, the documentation is unclear which is the only reason I don’t give it 5 stars. It works fantastic on both an iPhone 14 and a Pixel 7, but setting it up is somewhat confusing for the Pixel.

The 4K Dongle adapter is a simple to use product that makes screen mirroring my Apple MAC and IPhone 14 smooth and seamless. This product is compact with only two connections (HDMI & USB) that plug into the back of my TV allowing me to share my photos/videos with friends and family on the big screen. This is great for parties/family get togethers where all share with just a few clicks on there individual devices. One important note is to make sure the antenna attached to the device isn’t blocked/hidden for seamless streaming.
