Easy Pairing Operation
1. Press the “Auto Pairing” button on the device.
2. When the TV screen displays “Start pairing”, simultaneously press and hold the “Back” and “Home” buttons on the remote control for 10 seconds until the LED on the new remote control starts flashing, then release the buttons to use the remote control.
(Note: Only one remote can be paired at a time.)
2 * AAA batteries need to be inserted for use. (Note: The packaging does not include batteries.)

Volume up and down don’t work
Remote is okay. Seems a bit cheaper than the original remote. The volume buttons do not work though, so it’s pretty useless to me.They kind of worked when we first received it (had to press 3 or 4 times to go down a volume notch) but over the two months we have had it, it has gotten progressively worse and now doesn’t work at all. Outside of the return window now unfortunately. Disappointed I wasted my money.

Amazing value and perfect replacement
The original Google remote I had started bugging out and it didn’t have anything to do with the battery. So I’m very happy I could order a replacement that wasn’t too expensive. This worked great and was easy to pair with my Google Chromecast tc.

Best Replacement For Google Chromecast TV Remote
The new controller I got really did assist me in establishing a connection with my GCCTV. However, I later discovered that the problem I was experiencing with my old remote was actually something very simple that I could have easily fixed. This meant that I didn’t even need to purchase this new remote after all. But I guess that is just part of life; you learn from your experiences, and sometimes you make mistakes along the way.Now, while the remote functions perfectly well overall, I have noticed a strange little quirk. For some reason, I find that I need to press the UP button a little harder than I expect for it to register that I am trying to use it. It’s quite odd since I have not even had this remote for a full month yet, and already that UP button seems to be acting up a bit. I really don’t understand why this is happening, but it is a little frustrating.On the bright side, all the other functions of the remote work just as they are supposed to. I have the 4K version of the GCCTV, and I was able to connect it without running into any issues at all. Overall, I feel that this remote is definitely a worthwhile investment, especially if you are in need of a replacement for your old one.

Runs through batteries every 2 months and the volume doesn’t work. Loses connection every once and a while. Otherwise works fine

Very good quality similar to the original one. The pairing with the Chromecast was fast, and all buttons worked perfectly including the side volume ones.
