It’s built for this.What to Know:This drive does not play Xbox Series X|S games directly from it. You can store them on it, but to play them, you’ll need to move the game back onto the console’s internal SSD.Occasionally, the Xbox might not recognize it on boot-up. Works well with my Xbox Series X for storing games. For a HDD it is fast, and a reliable way to store and play Xbox One and 360 games, plus as a place to store Series X games. Be aware that an external HDD or SSD like this can only store Series X games, to play them you need a Storage Card or the internal drive.

Great for backing game clips and data it’s an awesome way to keep track of your progress and loads quickly!
