Hoping for a win with this Amazon Firestick Voice Remote!
This is our third Amazon Fire Stick Voice Remote (3rd Gen) for our TV, and we’re cautiously optimistic about this one! The remote itself is a solid upgrade from previous versions, with a sleek design and intuitive layout. The Alexa voice control is a standout feature—being able to search for shows, control volume, and even manage smart home devices with a simple voice command is incredibly convenient. The dedicated buttons for Netflix, Prime Video, and other apps make navigation a breeze, and the power and volume controls eliminate the need for juggling multiple remotes.Setup was straightforward, pairing easily with our Fire TV Stick, and the performance has been smooth so far. Our only concern stems from our experience with the previous two remotes, which didn’t last as long as we’d hoped—hence why we’re on our third. The build quality feels decent, but we’re keeping our fingers crossed for better durability this time around. For the price and functionality, it’s a great tool for enhancing our streaming experience, and we’re hopeful this one will be the charm! Highly recommend for its features, but here’s to hoping it holds up over time.

Exact replacement, works great so far
I have an old Firestick that still works fine for what I do, but the remote started freezing, sometimes after a minute, other times after an hour or even a day. To get it un-froxzenm i would have to take the battery out (removing just one worked), then put it back in, and the remote would work again, sometimes for a minute, but at lease I could use it! I tried a complete reset of the remote, but again it worked for an short time then was back to the same freeze-up behavior. The new one was very inexpensive, and seems to be an exact replacement. Amazon knows what firestick I have, and on the page with the new remote, there was a little message that confirmed that I was looking at the right replacement. The pairing went fine, and it didn’t take any other button pushing (in my case) for the new remote to control the TV and the soundbar. If there are any problems, I’ll update this review but if a few weeks pass and you don’t see any complaints, it means the remote is working well.

Works great with fire stick. Like the additional quick button selection for popular apps. Would recommend if needing replacement remote. The only thing I would recommend is having a sturdier back plate. Just like remote that comes with the system, it comes off more easily after using for a while. Overall, decent replacement for the price.

Easy set up
I spent many minutes trying to find my Firestick remote. I looked everywhere. It’s only me, and I keep it in the same spot, so not being able to find it, was frustrating. Then, all of a sudden, I see it. It has a glow in the dark, neon green cover on it. My cat decided he needed to play with it and chewed the center button off. I found the parts and popped them back on, but it had limited functionality. Hence the reason I needed to purchase this replacement. Boy am I happy he chewed it!!! I now have streamer buttons, which i didn’t have before. Aside from that, it was an easy set up. That’s what matters to me. I absolutely love this new remote!!!

They work and no setup was required. But, they do not reach the tv unless you are within a few feet, unlike the original remote that would reach rooms away.
