Not actual Dolby Atmos. Listened to Dolby Atmos encoded video to test and no sound came out of subwoofer.The surround sound does imitate a cheaper version of theatre sound in ‘movie’ mode. Vocal speech, when watching actual Atmos movies, are drowned by surround noise , like listening within a glass jar, and difficult to hear above the background(surround) noise regardless of Volume level.The power of the subwoofer is barely enough to be heard. You will feel nothing.In ‘dialog’ mode the vocals are more clear, but less clear than my 55″ TV’s internal speakers. ‘music’ mode requires a higher volume and at higher settings than 15, there is distortion.If you want to hear distinct left right stereo separation , go with a 2 speaker setup or longer sound bar.This is a budget option only. OK for $85.

Close to what I was looking for.
Don’t be fooled by the product photographs. The soundbar is actually 24″ long. They must have used a 32″ TV in the pictures, which makes the speakers look bigger than they actually are.The soundbar is pretty loud, and the Bass can sound decent if you keep the volume at less than half. Once you turn up the sound close to half way or more, the Bass starts to distort. The subwoofer can’t keep up with the soundbar.The subwoofer starts out at 0 and has adjustment of -6 to +6. If you set it at +6, it distorts but if you set it around +3 or +4 it doesn’t sound to bad.This is a descent “cheap-o” Soundbar and Sub for a smaller room or bedroom. I don’t think you would want this for your main living room.I have definitely seen a lot worse Chinese knock-offs than these.
