IN A WORLD FULL OF 6-7’S ONLY ONE 10 SHINES.
First off, im coming from a Xbox Elite Wireless Core 2 and I’m basing my review as a direct comparison to that controller. Also, I only play with my controller connected (for input lag and polling rate.)1. This controller is lighter but by no means “cheaper” feeling. Controller is light and airy in the hand has a slight flex when holding it tight in tense situations but after 4 months it’s still holding up. (I GRP MY TROLLIE REALLY HARD)2. software is amazing! The amount of tweaking and customization ur able to do is fantastic.3. Accessories for price. All the accessories that gamesir gives u for the money u pay is fantastic and u actually feel like ur getting a good bang for ur buck.4. Controller plays extremely responsive. This is where gamesir genuinely shined above my CE2. I can definitely say that gamesir has what feels like a more responsive, twitchy, fast controller. Going back and forth between the 2 for few days I felt like I could tell a difference between the two in how I was preforming in tense scenarios.5. Finally last but DEFINITELY not least. There is no stick drift. (Even at 0% deadzone settings) I know cuz that’s how I play. And even my CE2 had drift out of the box. I tried 1 more and the same thing so I don’t belive it was a faulty troller. I think Microsoft just claimed* 0 deadzone but im sure it came with certain setting caveats. One of them probs being u didn’t actually lower ur deadzone setting to 0 LOL.BOTTOM LINE. IF UR ON THE FENCE ABOUT THIS TROLLER DONT WAIT. U WILL NOT REGRET IT. 🔥

Worthy addition the the G7 line.
Edit: 5 stars after receiving new controller. Everything works as it should with no issue, right trigger stop feels solid. Top tier controller here.I have to preface why i’m not giving this controller 5 stars. The original controller I received was defective and had a right micro switch that would not read consistently after a day or so of use. I had to complete a return, and a month or so later I’ve decided to give it another go. It’s been rare for me to get multiple defective units back to back. So here we go.The controller feels great in hand. I’m able to use my custom faceplates from gamesir like I can on the G7he & se, and they fit perfectly with the only exception being the cross d-pad being the only one which fits in the faceplate. Which to me is perfectly fine. It looks wrong on the G7pro, but perfect on the SE/HE face plate. It’s also awesome for fighting games and platformers. Which is a important feature I feel in a pro controller. A lot of companies skimp here.Another feature Gamesir did not cheap out on is the software used to customize the controller. I’ve had over a dozen controllers in my hands the last few years, and this suite can not be beat. Easy to use and very user friendly. Can save 4 profiles and switch on the fly. Good stuff. The thumbsticks feel great, and have a very high resolution and bit rate. A little loose for my liking, but it’s comparable to the Gamesir Cyclone 2. Which is great because the sticks on these controllers are maybe the best at maintaining a zero dead zone without stick drift. I’ve purchased many, many controllers over the past few years. A lot of controllers can boast about zero dead zone’s with no drift. Many do not live up to that title without some kind of software algorithm.Wireless connectivity has been rock solid holding near 1000hz with little to no jitter on polling tests and no random disconnects. Wired is a bit quicker as to be expected. As long as the trigger stops hold up to prolonged use i will put this controller on a top tier list. However if you read around on reddit you see many of the same complaints. So it is a known issue. So far the 2nd control is holding up. If it’s still holding strong in a month or two I will upgrade my rating to 5 stars. As it is exceptional when all works as expected.I don’t have an xbox so I wasn’t able to give it a test there, but you have access to all the same features outside of gyro control. So I doubt anybody will be disappointed with it outside of this model needing to be wired for it to work on XBOX.

GameSir G7 Pro vs Scuf Valor Pro
Official Xbox licensed TMR, GameSir is really getting better past year they went from a cheap controller manufacturer in China to one of the Top Dogs! Scuf Valor Pro or GameSir G7 Pro will for me as far as official Xbox licensed controllers are tied for 1st. Scuf doesn’t have iCue for any controller but the Envision for PC. But it would be nice to tweak the Scuf Valor Pro with software but it basically is tuned and calibrated to perfection from Scuf. Although for some the sticks are only rectangular, and no option for circular. Jury is out which was is better, I’m saying there both great. G7 Pro has TMR sticks and actual great ones with no re centering spring, 12 bit 4096 resolution. Turtle Beach anti drift sticks are great, Scuf was late to the anti drift party, but there Hall effect sticks are some of the best, and they too acknowledge them as antidrift thumbsticks. Also GameSir has angreat app for PC and Xbox, and you can tweak pretty much everything. 272 grams. A perfect weight , valor pro is 260 and I don’t find that too light. Cyclone 2 other than not licensed for Xbox is really light at about 224 grams. Only thing negative about that controlller. Also Xbox is going to realease a Xbox licensed Tarantula. Same sticks as in Cyclone 2 and Tarntula Pro, the Tarantula with also have a PS4 stick layout is 325 grams, and it is a great weight. The G7 Pro is like I said tied with Scuf Valor Pro for official Xbox controllers, ironically both are wired. And at this point I’d rather play wired, even though the wireless tech out now gives you just as a great latency. Don’t hesitate, I pre ordered the black/red one from best buy yesterday and it says it comes out 8/22/25, while the white one was 8/15/25. After an hour I decided to cancel it, Amazon already had the controller as unavailable. So when I saw this morning you can order Same Day, I was glad I canceled my pre order. But for people who haven’t tried the Scuf Valor Pro, it’s 109.99 or 99.99 plus 10 dollars shipping on the Scuf website. I love the Nacon RXU , it’s heavy, omron face buttons, everything, but I’d rather get the Scuf and G7 Pro with 10 bucks saved. 200 dollar controllers at this point are a luxury, by no means do you need one to for esports. It’s so funny how I hated companies like GameSir, and never understood how the Scuf Instinct Pro was so expensive, but now I’m a Scuf fanboy, and GameSir really became famous for the G7 SE and G7 HE, for 44.99 and 49.99, gamers loved it. I bought the Kalied, and it was nice but felt cheap and was light. But Tarantula is when I knew they were the real deal, then Cyclone 2 and Super Nova. I also bought Iron Man G7 HE from wal mart, for some reason they have a lifetime stock. I still haven’t opened it, and prolly won’t. Collectors item. Scuf Instint Pro with anti drift would be great, or Scuf Instinct Pro . I’m telling you when the valor pro came out I laughed at it, and then one day Amazon had it for 89.99 and I picked the white one over black, they were out of steel grey. They re stocked and I bought a steel grey, almost was just gonna get the black one too, just because it’s all I use now. But G7 pro was obvious choice. Wolverine V3 Pro is great, and TE is also for 99.99 a great deal, but even the Pro I’d rather play with my Stealth Ultra or RXU, and of course Scuf Valor Pro. It’s 1A and 1A with G7 pro and Valor pro.
