This is a great controller for those who like to collect special controllers.Design.The blue color wave design looks much better in person than it does in pictures and it has darker blue designs in it that look great. The gold d-pad reminds me of the gold in the rare logo that I’ve seen since I was a kid. The yellow on the bumpers and triggers is also a great touch. The R40 logo looks great! I even appreciate the custom stick pads for sea of thieves. The charging station is also a great addition and I really like the yellow charge light on the bottom. That’s a really nice touch.Feel.Feel of the controller is premium and the plastics feel very high quality and very nice. The sticks feel very comfortable and move extremely well. The bumpers are nice and clicky and the triggers feel nice and smooth. The controller is a bit shorter and the numbers are a bit smaller than the standard controller, so if you have larger hands that may be an issue. I would say it’s more the size of a switch Pro controller. I have smaller hands so it’s great for me. The other buttons feel nice and tacky have great feedback. The hall effect sticks and triggers are going to last a long time.Price.I’ve seen some reviews that this controller is overpriced. I disagree. The design of the controller is excellent. The buttons are premium and the sticks are premium with premium hall effect. It also comes with its own charger that has its own colorway and a yellow charge light on the bottom. It’s also a custom collaboration with Rare. First party controllers aren’t rechargeable out of the box and do not have a charging station. Those two things alone will cost you $30. This controller also can have three custom configurations stored on it. Only the elite Xbox controllers can do that and they are much more expensive. The standard ones can be customized but those customizations aren’t stored on the controller at all. You absolutely get what you pay for here.I’m very happy with this purchase and if you are an old school gamer you will be too.

Very good Controller!
I absolutely love this controller! It is a bit small, compared to normal Xbox controllers, but that’s not necessarily a bad thing unless you have huge hands. It seems very durable, and well built, not like cheap plastic.I haven’t had any issues with connectivity, it worked right out the box. The battery life is also very good! I usually charge it after a few long gaming sessions, cause it doesn’t show the battery level on the Home Screen like an Xbox controller would. The charger is also magnetic which is nice, so I know it’s sitting on the dock correctly and charging.The joysticks are very responsive as well, and I’ve had absolutely no stick drift whatsoever.Would definitely recommend!

I have only had original Xbox the Elite Series II controllers up until this point. Sticks drift on both Elites. This controller has better tech than the Elites with the hall effect sticks and works great with the Xbox Series X. The controller is lighter and smaller than the elites, so it took a little while to get used to the back buttons. It also does not have any texture grip either. The triggers are also hall effect and have a great click. The do not have the lock to limit trigger travel, but you can adjust response times in the downloadable app. The app is available on PC, Android, and Xbox. Great price and features for what this controller offers.
