Very good quality for price; Stable and solid
Very good quality tripod for the price. Very stable with my 80 mm spotting scope. I did upgrade the head to the Avella V1 because I wanted a high quality ball head. The Avella is great. The head that came with the Cambofoto was it’s weakest point, not very user friendly or stable. But at this price point, I still think it’s a great value. The height it will extend to, and its quality and stability are surprising at this price. No need to upgrade. I like the 3 prong stabilizer for the 3 legs, it is quick easy and solid/stable. Popping it up allows a quick collapse of the legs together to get through doorways or narrow passages outdoors. Pops right back down when passed through. Nice hook to support a stabilizing weight below. I’ll be happily keeping this tripod, and if you want a quality and budget friendly combination, I recommend the Cambofoto tripod with the Avela V1 ball head.

Good cheap tripod
This CAMBOFOTO 74″ tripod is overall good for the price. There isn’t much to say but I’m writing this review to mention a couple of negative aspects for anyone interested.CONS:-It’s very difficult to tilt the head. At first I thought there was another screw I needed to loosen because it wouldn’t move at all. Finally it tilted after using a lot of force. I’m afraid the handle could potentially break off from adjusting the tilt too much. Some lubrication might help.-The shaft that raises the head using the crank handle is very wobbly and practically useless if you want stability. I wouldn’t trust it to hold a heavy full size camera. It’s basically impossible to adjust tilt after the head is cranked up because the shaft is so thin and wobbly and the tilt takes so much force to adjust. I tried once and almost broke the shaft.This can be particularly annoying if you need the extra height because you’ll have to lower the head back down, adjust tilt, hope you got the right angle, then raise it again. Rinse and repeat until the framing is right. It’s perfectly stable without the head cranked up though. I recommend completely ignoring this feature and buying a taller tripod if you need more height than this one can provide with the legs fully extended.If you’re a casual user like me and just need a tripod to use at home, this is a perfectly fine option. If you plan to use it professionally, in rugged environments, or for frequent travel, then I’d recommend you spend more for something nicer.

Very good tripod for the price!
I wanted an inexpensive tripod for a laser level that I just picked up. I didn’t want to spend much because the level isn’t an expensive one. This tripod is way better quality than I thought it would be for the price! It isn’t top of the line but not too shabby. It works great for my purposes. The one thing about it that isn’t great is the gear driven telescoping head. It wants to slip down if you let go of the crank handle. But I figured out that if I keep the tightening knob somewhat snug, it won’t slip back down and then I don’t have any trouble adjusting the height of the laser. The tripod does feel sturdy enough to put a fair amount of weight on it.

lights weight and easy to carry. o use it to record my son’s soccer games. so something compact and easy to carry was a must. this product is perfect for this. its easy to setup in seconds. very sturdy made of great quality. easy to adjust and lock in place.
