if youre thinking about buying a laptop for the first time and wanna try some steam games, this is honestly really good for some stuff like stardew, sims, left 4 dead, etc. i havent tried heavyish games but im sure itd still work like a charm. only issue is windows will sometimes glitch a little but it isnt the laptop’s fault. i only recommend upgrading ram to about 32 gb, which i plan on doing soon so i can have no worries ab memory. but this is a solid choice as a beginning laptop, its a little stressful to comprehend at first but its really worth it after a few reddit posts and youtube videos.so far, after about a few weeks of use, id recommend!

The laptop arrived on time and after setting it up, it works perfectly. The screen is sufficiently bright but is more suited for indoors. It loads everything up quickly so no issues in terms of lag. It’s a great laptop overall for the price.

A few issues but will keep using it
I went with ASUS because my last one lasted at least 8 years, if not longer with minor issues until she finally gave up. I felt like for the price (and since year model is important to computers, who knew) it was cheaper than the same (or similar) laptops I could find. It has been great but two issues. I can’t always get my laptop to connect to my home wifi for a few minutes after it’s turned on and periodically throughout using it. It’s kind of an annoyance and not sure how to look into the issue since I’m new to the new Windows. The other problem is sometimes when I’m launching games (not even big AAA games) the computer will just hard freeze. Alt F4 and CTRL+ALT+DLT does nothing. I have to hard power off my computer then turn it back on and then I can get my games to start normally. My wallpaper sometimes disappears so I’m not sure if that’s related to that issue or not. I may need to look into replacing the hard drive even though this one is supposed to have the SSD drive.You do have the tin key pad which is awesome. You can customize the color lighting and effects on the keyboard. You can use a usb-c charger to charge the laptop but depending on the ability of the charger it may not be powerful to keep the laptop charged too well during gaming. Though doing any other tasks it’ll charge it pretty quickly. The battery life seems ok but I usually keep it on the charger when in use. The screen size is really good. It’s a lot lighter than my old gaming laptop as well so carrying is better. There’s no noise from the computer running. Honestly, if it wasn’t for the two issues above I’d give it five stars.
