A MUST IF YOU’RE NEW TO RETROGAMING! First off, the company that makes these drives, RetroKnight games, are based in US. Customer service is amazing! Before I received item the owner reached out so he could email me instructions and more. I purchased the 512gb Lightgun Games ssd. I purchased a refurbished mini pc to use strictly for Batocera and this drive. Had issues booting it up, so I reached out to seller. He was quick to respond and was willing to send a replacement right away. Before I shipped it back I decided to try and boot on a 2012 iMac. VOILA!! It worked. The pc I purchased was the issue. I went through the contents and was surprised to see much more games than expected. It was a very well curated library that included racing and fighting games to name a few. I highly recommend using Sinden Lightguns as they are pretty much plug in play. It runs Batocera v.41 on linux based pc and intel era macs. (Not sure about M series Macs). If you’re new to retro gaming, any ssd builds from RetroKnight Games are great starts and, imo, worth what you pay for. It wouldve took me 100s of hours putting together this drive and the library within. Id probably just give up. This product is 100% legit and so is Retroknight Games. I Recommend any products from them.
