Good waterproof performance
The waterproof performance is very good. The zipper is waterproof, which helps keep the camera dry in light rain or humid conditions. The hard shell feels sturdy, and the case is compact and easy to carry. It fits one action camera and a few small accessories well. Overall, good quality and great value for the price.

Better Quality Than Your Average Budget Camera Hard-Shell
This Camera Hard-Shell Carry Case is better quality than your average budget hard-shell, but is still a similar price. Short story, if this fits your equipment, I would choose this over any of your everyday budget hard-shells.Versatility:This is marketed as being for a number of different camera models, and will work great for them. However it will also work great for any camera or equipment that will fit in the same space. I always find this to be a nice bonus.Build Quality:The feel of the materials is generally better than or equal to your average budget zipper hard-shell, and is generally better designed. The shell is nice and rigid. The zipper is smooth and does not hang up anywhere. It is a bit stiffer because it is a water resistant zipper, but this is normal, and it seems to break in just fine. The zipper has nice feeling rubber coatings on the zipper pulls. Even the little carabiner used to attach the optional wrist strap is better quality then the cheap flimsy aluminum carabiners that normally come with budget zipper hard-shells.Features / Functionality:- The outer shell is covered in a pleather (faux leather) that feels more durable then the smooth plastic coverings that some hard-shells have.- The Zipper is a water resistant zipper. This will not make it waterproof if submerged, but will do a better than normal job at keeping the rain out. This is a nice addition that isn’t normally on budget zippered hard-shells.- The interior of both halves of the shell is covered in a soft synthetic felt to prevent scratches.- The main section does not have additional foam on the sides, however the sides feel nice and thick.- The bottom of the main section has a thin foam pad insert that is covered on both sides in the synthetic felt. It is removable, and the floor of the main section underneath the pad is also covered in the synthetic felt.- Elastic strap to secure the equipment in the main section, and a mesh divider in the lid for extra stuff. A pretty standard setup.- High visibility orange interior and outer accents.

Hardy little case
This has been a wonderful addition to my “Bugout bag”! It feels long lasting and matches the orange in my bag perfectly. I’m only minorly annoyed by how difficult it was to install the strap. It’s definitely not going to unclip by itself but MAN, it couldn’t have been more difficult. I also wish words were not on the front but it’s fine for what I’m using it.

If you’re anything like me, your action camera spends about as much time bouncing around in your bag as it does capturing footage. That’s why I took a shot on the Mini Hard EVA Carrying Case, specifically pitched as a snug bunker for the DJI OSMO Action 6 (though it plays nicely with GoPros, Insta360 cameras, and just about every other pocket-sized adventure-capturer out there).First impressions: it’s not flashy, but it feels solid, like the kind of thing you can toss into a backpack without a second thought. The semi-rigid EVA shell doesn’t give much under pressure, which I honestly appreciate more than style points. Zippers are sturdy. The handle is basic, but functional. The important bit, though? The waterproof exterior. Now, I wouldn’t throw it straight into a lake, but for hiking in the rain or getting drenched by rogue ocean spray, you’re covered.Inside, the custom compartments make a real difference. There’s a dedicated slot for your camera and separate cutouts for batteries, memory cards, small mounts, and cables; so, no more fishing through Velcro pouches or wondering if your lens cap has snuck out the side. The foam is dense but forgiving, and nothing rattled around after some solid shakes and drops during a field test.Downsides? It’s “mini” for real; you do need to travel light. If you like to bring every accessory you own, you might run out of room. There’s no extra zip pocket for a lens pen or a power bank, which would have been nice. But that compact design is also what makes it such a no-fuss add to your kit; it slips right into a messenger bag or even a larger coat pocket, so you’re never tempted to just go bagless and risk the dreaded scratch.Bottom line: if you want something simple, tough, and compact to keep your action cam safe between sessions, this is about as good as it gets for the price. Just don’t expect to cram your whole gear drawer in there; this is for minimalists and people who prioritize protection over packratting. Four stars, and a permanent place on my next adventure.

I did not get this case for its intended purpose of holding action cameras, so I can’t comment on how it works for that purpose and what cameras may fit. I instead got it for holding other small devices and keeping them protected from accidental drops. A hard EVA case like this also seemed like a good choice in particular for travel or packing and moving. With a strap on one side and a pocket on the other, this case can be used for anything, though. You could even use it simply to store some snacks and have them easy to access on the outside of your bag. As for how the case looks, the black and blue design looks modern and sleek in person. While the case was more mini in size than I was expecting, I actually liked that as I was worried it might end up being too bulky. Overall, it’s a sleek, quality case.
