More than just an entry level vlogging camera
The ZV-E10 is a very capable camera packaged in an entry level body at an amazingly low price. Right out of the box, you will get good image quality whether you pair it with the kit lens or any other quality lens. I have used this camera with Sony apsc lenses such as the 11mm 1.8, and the 15mm 1.4 as well as various Sony full frame lenses. Each lens rendered amazing image quality with fast reliable autofocus with the ZV-E10. There are third party lenses that work well with this camera but I have found that the autofocus was not as fast and reliable as the first party lenses.By using the picture profiles, such as S-log and HLG you can get amazing color along with astonishing image quality that you would expect from something costing 3x more. The 4K is sharp and clean. The files produced by this camera are easy to edit and are not overly taxing on your machine of choice. I have edited these files on my desktop PC and on my MacBook Pro and neither of them struggled with the files. The body of the ZV-E10 is very lightweight and fairly simple to learn the button layout. There is a zoom rocker switch that will control your PZ lenses or clear image zoom. The clear image zoom works well for those non-PZ lenses, and somehow manages to maintain optimal image quality while zooming in at up to 1.5X. Even though this camera is aimed towards vloggers, it is still capable of taking some great photos. There is an S&Q mode that will allow you to do Timelapse style video and slow motion, that is viewable directly in camera. These modes do not record audio but are useful for things such as B-roll and more. If you are a product reviewer, this camera has a mode that will focus on a product that is placed close to the camera, without the need to block your face. There are a ton of things to say about this camera, but the most important one is, that you will not be disappointed. After hours of use, I am still learning more about the camera and it has never overheated on me. Which is fairly common with most small body cameras.

    Excellent Camera
Excellent camera, crisp quality and someone switching from the Sonya6000 to the Sony zve10 this is a total upgrade yeah it’s 4K shooting and it has log which my a6000 did not have when I originally purchased and I love the flip out screen, it’s just way better overall for shooting and filming if this it’s more lightweight. The build looks better. The sound is better on the camera itself it’s easily just a better camera to use in general and it works perfectly would definitely recommend this camera if upgrading from a camera like I did like the Sony a6000 so you’re looking for a good budget camera and not looking to spend an insane amount. This is a good camera for you.

Perfect camera when upping video quality from iPhone setup.
This camera rocks! This is my first ‘big boy’ camera and I have been pleasantly surprised! There are tons of tutorials to help with the learning curve and this camera is easy to use and learn once you dive in. I use this for YouTube videos and switching from an iPhone 14, this camera is forcing me to learn videography and lighting and I am having a blast! After much research, I bought the base camera w/o lens and purchased the 35mm Sony lens with 1.8f. This is the perfect entry level camera with professional quality output. If you’re looking to up your videos from phone quality, this is a fantastic choice.

    Approved lol
Great quality for the price. The photos come out very crisp once you learn how to use the settings and choose the right lens. I use it for fashion content, and it performs much better than the Canon G7X Mark II or III. Just make sure to get a good automatic flash. For a total of $1,120, this setup is much more flexible and delivers far better results than any Canon G7X. And easy to use!

    love it
I recently purchased the Sony ZV-E10 camera, and it has truly elevated my short film projects and streaming sessions! The image quality is stunning, with vibrant colors and sharp details that bring my visuals to life. The interchangeable lens system is a game-changer, allowing me to experiment with different focal lengths and styles. For streaming, the autofocus is incredibly fast and accurate, ensuring I stay in focus no matter how much I move around. The flip-out screen is perfect for monitoring my shots, whether I’m filming myself or capturing a scene. Plus, the compact design makes it easy to set up anywhere. The audio quality is also impressive, and I love that I can connect external microphones for even better sound. Overall, the ZV-E10 is perfect for both short films and streaming, and I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Highly recommend it for anyone serious about their creative projects!

Ainda não testei mas já vejo que a imagem é um absurdo pra foto. Estou avaliando para agradecer ao Luiz da Goplay que falou comigo pelo Whatsapp sobre a greve dos correios e veio me trazer pessoalmente a câmera.

I already have a full frame A7r2 that I’ve been using for video, so I can offer a comparison with that (which may also translate to other Sony full frame cameras) for those interested.Video quality: I’m immediately impressed how hard it is to distinguish the video quality from the a7r2. It does need a bit more light (it’s at ISO 200 under the same lighting conditions that the a7r2 was at ISO 100), and the crop factor is certainly noticeable when using the same full frame lenses, but apart from that, it just looks really good. To be clear I’m not doing any carefully measured tests, this is just a first impression eyeball test comparing 4k vs 4k video of the same subject in the same lighting conditions.Build quality: Here’s where the relatively-budget pricing of this camera is noticeable. This feels very cheap and plasticky compared to an a7 (which has a metal frame). The wheel on the top of the camera feels mushy and yucky. They didn’t bother to paint the screws to match the colour of the body. The “grip” looks grippy but feels glossy smooth and if anything *more* slippery than the rest of the body. There’s no proper latch to open the USB/HDMI panel or flip open the display, it’s just a crevice in the plastic you have to dig your nail underneath to pop it open. It is “budget” within Sony’s camera lineup, but I’d still hope for better given the actual cost. A rubbery texture to the grip would cost what, like $3, that’s not a corner they need to be cutting on a device that retails for $850.Software: This is another area of advantage vs. my a7r2 that is an older model and not designed for video first. Mostly the menus/settings are very familiar, but a big plus here is auto-focus tracking on eyes, while in video mode. I’m mostly using this on a tripod, but the ability to use a touch screen for changing the AF focus point is also a plus. I’ll also include in “software” that it can directly function as a webcam with its USB output, which is a convenience (I’ve tested this and it’s fine, but I still prefer the better quality and 4K support of the HDMI out into a capture stick).Hardware design: Mostly this is a standard Sony camera layout of hardware buttons/wheels/etc., and with the settings a lot of it can be customized. My only complaint, apart from build quality, is that the display screen flips out to the same side of the camera as the HDMI/USB output and mic input–meaning that if you use it while anything is plugged in, the cables are going to obstruct the display. I can see how they backed themselves into this corner (there would also be problems with moving the jack locations, and there would be problems with moving where the display flips out), it’s just unfortunate. I’ve ordered a “right angle” micro HDMI plug as a mitigation.Overall, the optics are the big selling point here, in a very compact package that is video-first. If using it on a tripod indoors, get a “dummy battery”, which will both give infinite power and prevent overheating of the device. You can charge while plugged in by USB, but it doesn’t charge as fast as the battery drains (or so YouTube tells me), and anyways it will just generate heat and ruin the battery. The cleverness of my pairing this with my a7r2 is that they use the same battery (and I have a dummy battery already). Otherwise I might have waited for the ZV-E10 ii, which is expected to come out very soon.

Amei a compra.
