Sounds great, lightweight, no headaches
I like the weight of this for being wireless. I expected it to be heavier and I’m thankful it’s not. I recently replaced my Razer Kraken V1 headset with this and I am not disappointed! I’m prone to headaches from headsets after a short time of playing and I can wear these for hours upon hours without any discomfort! They are just a comfortable, have much better sound quality than my old ones with the 7.1 surround sound. Speech clarity is great, the battery last quite a while. I really like that they can be used via USB, Bluetooth, or with the wireless USB receiver that comes with it. The USB cable that comes with it is very luxurious! I got it on sale and even if not it would be worth the purchase.

Horrendous material quality/durability
I took the decision to purchase this headset cause my Nari Essential gave the last breathe after 7 years of casual gaming sessions, but man, this trash lasted 4 months of barely use hello??? My head is not that big at the point to broke the adjustable headband like that daaaamn I mean everyday I come back home from work tired enough to use my PC for more than 2 hours and same in weekends, I can’t just believe how bad quality Razer become over the years! Compared to the Nari series, the material quality on this piece of crap is unvelievably cheap as hell. 180 bucks from my pocket expects at least good durability but is not even close. I feel really sad cause I like Razer a lot but seems that they only care about money than a durable product nowadays, now I’m going for the Astro A50X, a friend lent them to me to try out and they definitely won me over. I won’t return to Razer until they release something close to the quality of the Nari.Oh right, the sound, sound it’s ok nothing bad to tell but I missed the haptics from the Nari, you can get used to it in a while cause the bass is good but it will feel strange without the vibrations lol. (for any haptic users reading this).

Solid Sound and Gorgeous Lighting
My ROG Deltas finally died due to a cable short, so this time I decided wireless is a must. Being the Razer fan that I am, they’re the brand I went with. Tried the Barracuda X Chroma first, and they were awful, so back they went. Decided to spend a little more and get these Kraken V4s and so far I’m thinking I made a great choice for myself. Took a little bit of tweaking within the software to get it exactly where I wanted it, as well as some configuration within discord, as these show up as two devices in windows. But Razer provided great instructions and after that these things sound absolutely fantastic and the mic is very clear and clean. They shine most in single player games, as they’re designed more for immersion than esports, though they also worked just fine in Call of Duty for a player of my skill. If you’re looking for a headset for hardcore esports, this may not be for you, as footsteps and such can get drowned out by all the other background sounds, but if you’re looking for a headset to enjoy single player experiences, or just a headset that has all around excellent sound, this is certainly one to consider. Also, the lighting is among the best I’ve ever seen on a headset, which I know most people don’t care about, but I certainly do, and these are absolutely beautiful. All in all, I think these were certainly worth the money.

Throw your current headset in the trash and buy this one!
Super comfortable for long-term wear. Quality is top notch. Durable as H-E-Double-Toothpicks. Easy to use and install for use with your computer. Clear audio quality and sound. Battery lasts longer than a Mending enchantment in Minecraft. Adjustable mic arm. Exciting colors on the outside. Totally worth the price. I could have bought this headset twice-over for all the money I’ve wasted on cheaper headsets that didn’t work or weren’t comfortable. This Razer Kraken is like having your head hugged by a bunny from Stardew Valley. Wearing it, you’ll feel cooler than Kratos in Midgard’s Fimbulwinter. Toss your current headset in the trash and buy this one.

Nari Were Better
I had a Razer Nari Ultimate Cordless Headset I bought off Amazon after being returned. That was an amazing headset that lasted me years. I needed to replace it this year as the battery died and I could only use it plugged in.Unfortunately the Nari are not made anymore, so the next best thing was to be this Razer Kraken V4. Honestly I was never truly impressed. Yes it was lighter but felt fragile. The controls seemed useless with unnecessary downloads to change the settings, but honestly the settings do not do anything useful other than change sound quality. The Kraken could not adjust as wanted between gaming sound and chat sound. It says it can but it cannot. The Nari I could make the chat sound 90% vs gaming sound 10%. I tried with the Kraken and it diminished or made louder all sound. It would not separate them like the Nari (but it said it did). Just a bunch of useless controls for a headset that just seemed less. Then my final thoughts. As stated this felt fragile. I never abused this headset. After 6 months I am sitting here with my headset on and it started feeling very loose. The headset extenders are plastic and 1 side just slowly broke on my head. No I do not have an oversized head. So ya, I don’t think I would by a Kraken again. Not as good, cheap, and over priced for something that does not last.

Eh.
Great sound but only when it wants to work. And it keeps disconnecting very often at random. The audio only sounds best when it’s plugged in and charging. Otherwise it sounds super low/bad quality. Not sure why. But I wish I had gotten a different pair. Maybe the pair I got is defective. Not sure. Also the Bluetooth voice is pretty annoying when you have to hear it over and over and can’t turn that off. “Bluetooth disconnected. Pairing. Pairing. Pairing.” Like dear god please have mercy.

These headphones are amazing! And i love that you can use them on your phone and on pc’s and laptops! They are very comfortable with the memory foam, and are freat for blocking sound. I also love how there are so many buttons to use instead of just one does all. Only downside is you can only use the computer app to turn off the lights or change the equalizer, not the phone app.

The Razer headset is terrible. After just under 2 months of use, it started malfunctioning. The left side of the headphones constantly stops working, and to make it work again, I have to hit the side of the headset hard. Additionally, when you connect it to the computer, two audio output options appear: one for chat and another for gaming. You don’t have the option to disable this. Moreover, when you connect it via cable (to charge and use it simultaneously), two more outputs appear, totaling four, because the headset separates the wireless audio outputs from the wired ones. So, every time you connect the headset to the computer, you have to change the audio outputs, and when you disconnect it (to use wirelessly), you have to change them again. Extremely disappointed with Razer; this is the fourth Razer product I’ve purchased with some hidden chronic defect. My last purchases, which I do not recommend due to hidden chronic defects:Razer Kraken v4Razer Kraken v3 ProRazer BlackWidow v4 ProRazer Leviathan XRazer Chroma ARGB ControllerRazer Chroma Light Strip SetDo not buy any of these products; all of them have hidden chronic defects. Just look at Razer’s own website to see the number of people complaining about the same issues. If you purchase any of these products, it will only be a matter of 2 to 3 months before the defects start to show.
