Great product that overcame by skepticism…
I’ve used a bunch of AI products with varying results, so I was skeptical about another AI product. I bought this at the end of 2025 when there was the usual lull in work and meetings, so I didn’t really get a chance to use it until everyone recovered from the holiday hangover.First, it’s solidly built – both the device and the magnetic holder. It’s not real leather but I don’t really care. It’s a tight fit so I don’t think you’ll need to pull it out often. Fortunately, there’s an opening on the backside for the charging contacts. If you’re buying an aftermarket case, check for the opening for the charging contacts.Second, you get 300 minutes of recording and summarizing each month with the FREE Starter Plan. Unused time doesn’t roll over to the next month; you just start over with 300 minutes each month. You can upgrade to more minutes and features. The 300 minutes is nice so you can test it out and see if both the device and the plan meets your needs.Third, it’s pretty easy to use. Click the button for battery life. Long press to start and stop. Click during recording to let the AI know that this is an important point in the meeting. When you’re done, the recording is then transferred to your phone via BT. You have the option of getting a transcription, summaries, meeting notes, action items, and others.Fourth, they recently launched a companion desktop version where you can see the same recording. The desktop version works off the same plan. It allows you to record meetings on your computer whether it’s Teams, WebEx, Zoom, etc. It doesn’t plug into those apps but runs separately so the other attendees won’t know you’re using Plaud so use it appropriately.Lastly and most importantly, it seems to record the meetings well and does a great job summarizing the meeting with the free templates. A huge selling point is that it handles the note taking so I can pay attention or run the meeting and afterward, provides me with great notes and summaries. It will match the speaker and name, if known, to the notes. And if I need to confirm anything, I have the recording and AI-created transcripts.Is it worth it? For $185 and the basic plan, I’d say yes because I can pay attention to the meeting and saves me the time and hassle of taking notes and then summarizing them.

Plaud is the cure for my ADD!
For someone who has scatterbrain through 90% of the day, the Plaud note is a savior. I’m able to record phone calls and conversations and easily reference the app for a quick summary and key highlights from the conversation.I would remind anyone purchasing this device to gain permission from the other party before recording anything. I have had no issues gaining consent, especially when I explain what the device is and what it does for me. If anything I end up being a sales rep for Plaud.There are a couple tips and tricks within the app that I would encourage users to read and try out. These can help ensure you’re getting the highest quality recordings and best functionality of the device.I would highly recommend this to anyone who lives a busy life and needs a device to help retain information. The AI built into Plaud has been outstanding so far. Not only does it analyze recordings and generate text summaries, it lets you ask questions in which the AI will reference the record recording or search the web for answers.I use this for everything from work meetings and phone calls to quickly noting a shopping list. This is way more useful than I expected it to be and there’s no buyers remorse here!

Plaud takes note-taking to a whole new level. It has excellent recognition capabilities, and the outputs for Summary, Action Items, Power Stance, and more are top-notch. AI at its best!

OK, awesome piece of tECHNOLOGY. It’s beyond words it’s quick. It’s small. It’s easy a little bit of a learning curve, but not much! If you’re in Business medicine tECHNOLOGY this is it the only thing we could get better if you telepathically could link to your person that you’re talking to that would be better but maybe that’s in the work someday! Get it use it live free!

This a fantastic time saver.
This product is quite impressive. It does not work with headphones on however if you have calls and take them on speaker, this does a very good job of capturing and summarizing your call.It comes with a a magnetic sleeve and a stick on magnet.I have used it to capture class and phone calls. I am also using it so I don’t have to take notes. It takes them.

Amazing. Must have for anyone needing to track daily symptoms, etc.
This thing is amazing. I’m using it for work meetings, doctor appointments, and my favorite, daily log. I have an autoimmune disease and tracking medicine and symptoms along with sleep, daily activity, etc. is a breeze with this. I simply hit the button and make a verbal note of everything during the day and this creates a nice summary. Daily logs can then be analyzed for triggers, effectiveness of medicine, etc.

I’ve tried a few voice recorders over the years and the Plaud Pro is easily the best I’ve owned. The sound quality is excellent, voices come through clear and natural even in busy environments, which is exactly what I need for meetings, interviews and quick voice notes on the go. It feels solid and well-built, not cheap or flimsy like some alternatives. What really sets it apart is how easy it is to use. Recording is instant, transferring files is simple, and the battery life is far better than I expected. I can rely on it for a full day of use without constantly worrying about charging. The design is also a big plus: slim, discreet and professional-looking. It slips into a pocket or bag and doesn’t draw attention, which is ideal when you just want to focus on the conversation rather than the tech. Overall, this is a genuinely well-thought-out product that does exactly what it promises. If you’re looking for a reliable, high-quality voice recorder for work, study or personal use, I’d highly recommend the Plaud Pro. Worth every penny.

Be prepared for much self teaching. There are not enough institutions or links to tutorials. The sign up fee is heavy, some competitors don’t charge. Positives, the audio to text is very consistently good.

Great bit of kit. Easy to set up and use. Recording is clear even when Mike is in my pocket walking. App is easy to use and there are some great features on the app to make life easier. Ask Plaud AI has it’s limitations (one being it doesn’t recognise its own product meme) but these are very minor and still worth 5 stars.
