Amazing sound, simple setup.
Paired with OLED C5 the sound is amazing, like you are sitting at the movies. Loved the rear speakers being Bluetooth and no wires to run. Sub has great “feel it rumble” sound! Another great product from LG!

Modern audio at a reasonable price
Has a much more full and booming sound compared to my old LG stereo soundbar. Voices are much easier to hear and I don’t struggle as much with trying to find the “right volume” anymore. Finally being able to use Dolby Atmos is nice as well – maybe not as dramatic of an effect without the rear speakers, but still fills the room nicely.I would recommend turning LG’s “AI Sound Pro” OFF – with it on, I found it to be really inconsistent, even when calibrating it with my LG C4 – it was usually lacking bass and making voices sound thin. I suspect this setting is why some complain about the lack of bass on this soundbar/subwoofer. The bass sounds HUGE when you turn AI Sound Pro off, trust me.Using the Standard or Cinema presets makes it sound how I would expect across all content. The Auto Volume feature is a good one to turn on if you don’t want to have to crank the volume way up, and does a good job normalizing the volume, no matter what I’m watching. Really nice upgrade overall and didn’t break the bank!

Great sound and value
Overall I’m really happy with the performance from this soundbar. I replaced a 10 year old poor sounding Yamaha soundbar for whatever that is worth. I have this paired with a 65″ LG C5 OLED. It adds a ton of bass over what just the TV speakers would be. It fills our 12×20 livingroom with pristine highs, punchy mids and really great bass considering it’s a smaller sub. I had also purchased LG S80TY but after hooking the 70 up first I was more than satisfied and that move also save me $200. The sub on the 80 was substantially larger and it also has 3 uprising speakers instead of just 1. If you are needing a Soundbar for an extremely large space you may need the 80 but for average Joe’s I think the 70 will more than fill the bill, especially for under $300.The only con I have found so far is that some channels (ESPN in particular) give you a tinny sound poor sound for when certain broadcasts are on and I’m using the soundbar. I just change from the WOW ORCHESTRA back to TV speakers and things are fine. Not sure why this is but a friend of mine with a SONOS soundbar said he sometimes gets similar issues.

Great sound, terrible app that cripples the entire thing
If you’re a company that’s going to make the bold choice to have everything about your soundbar be configured via an app, you’d better make sure that your app is AMAZING. And that your hardware connects with a variety of WiFi routers. Unfortunately, LG did neither. ☹️I set this up easily, and everything worked great at the basic level. Solid wireless connection to the subwoofer (which neither Samsung nor Sony can seem to get right), and the rear channels worked great. The overall was good, but not great. But I can’t tune the sound or adjust anything without the app, so I was never able to get it to sound great. And unfortunatley, I couldn’t set up the soundbar using the app. It always failed at step two of adding the device, which seems to be when the soundbar tries to communicate with the wireless access point. I called LG support seven times (three of those were the system hanging up on me mid-wait), and their tech support wasn’t helpful. There seems to be no log files or data that they can look at to see exactly what’s going on. It just fails (that error code in the screenshot wasn’t indicative of the actual issue), and they could offer no advice on how to get it working. I tried both the Android and iOS apps; I rebooted, reintalled, and re-initiated everything multiple times. Nothing helped.Honestly, it’s shocking to me that LG would prefer me to return this product and leave a negative review rather than build things into their system to help with troubleshooting WiFi issues. This soundbar system could have been great, but it’s a 1-star product because LG made the entire system reliant upon the app working, and their app/wifi connection piece just doesn’t work well.

Great surround system
The sound is amazing. The unit was missing a cord but the seller quickly sent a replacement. Highly recommend!

This is the first time I purchased a premium dolby atmos soundbar, but it is worth every penny. The vocals, tiniest background noises (which were unheard even in theatre), crisp base, surround and overhead channels make it one of the best soundbar in this price category. Only thing to make sure to fill your room with good acoustic supporting cushions and curtains to get most out of the soundbar, surround and overhead channels.. even though this is 810W sound system, it sounds best in my 200sqft. living room..

⭐ 4/5I’ve been using this LG soundbar for about a month now. It’s really impressive for movies — the Dolby Atmos effect is awesome and gives 100% satisfaction, especially the overhead effects that make you feel like you’re in a theatre. The bass also activates only when required, which keeps the sound clean and balanced. However, for music or YouTube videos, it’s a waste of money. The sound feels flat and doesn’t give that same punch. Great for movies, but not ideal for regular music listening.
