How to enter the game system?
Connect the portable hard drive to the USB port on your PC or Mac when it’s off, USB 3.0 port is recommended.
After pressing the power button, keep tapping ESC or Delete on your keyboard(wired or 2.4g wireless Keyboard, bluetooth keyboard does not work) to enter BIOS. For Mac users, simply hold Option and choose the portable hard drive to boot into.
Notice: This hard drive will only work with X86 hardware (32bit or 64bit), any ARM based device (Windows Surface series, Mac with power pc CPU or M1 CPU) will not work. The BIOS interface and options may vary on your device as manufacturers may adopt unique BIOS or UEFI systems

MB scan: no viruses, Files in ROM folder: 252,933
Just got the game drive. Immediately scanned it for viruses with malwarebytes. None found. The drive disconnected itself a few times during the scan (i guess the load was too much for it)It’s a 2TB drive with two partitions. The drive is slap full. The instructions say to boot from the drive but thats sketchy so I’m just going to access the rom files in another OS environment.Haven’t played any of the games yet but there are a total of 252,933 files in the ROM folder.ALSO the included adapter is a POS. do not expect this drive to sustain reads and writes reliably until you crack open the enclosure, and place the drive in another USB enclosure (preferably a powered one)

Tons of games
Works exactly as described. Boots up and has so many games. There are duplicates but there are lots that I was supposed were on there. Overall not Abad deal. Sure you could buy a drive and download all of the games yourself but it’s quite the headache to organize and get it all to work. This is great for us lazy people

Perfect solution fir the retro gamer that has a little technical know how
This Kinhank drive is pretty amazing for the amount of games on it. When I first got I was booting Batocera directly using an old Intel Mac Mini 2014 that I have. That computer didn’t quite have the horsepower to emulate PS2 games, so I ordered a cheap Beelink mini pc to try that with it. I couldn’t get the Windows 11 Beelink unit to boot Batocera, but I figured out I could just use this Kinhank drive a hard drive so I just downloaded my own emulators and started playing the games that way. That also solved the problem I was having with Batocera generating save states every time I pushed certain buttons on the controller, no matter what I did to remap the buttons. If you like retro gaming there are ten lifetimes worth of content on this drive. Overall I am very happy with this purchase, just be aware you may need to do some tweaking yourself to get it running smoothly.

2TB Game Drive, USB 3.0, Built-in 120000+ Games, External Hard Drive Compatible
So far so good. I will plan on buying a high capacity one once its on sale. 8tb and 12tb would be nice.

Ease of use
This is a great product for the “Retro-gamer”. As prices rise astronomically for your retro-games, this is a nice intermediate access to your childhood. The instructions are pretty basic and easy to understand – if your not comfortable with certain changes needed to get this going – refer to youtube for help. I just perused it just to see the commentary. This is a must have.

Careful! It likes to screw with your UEFI settings! Wiped 2 systems!
The concept is great, and there’s an awful lot of games, but it absolutely destroyed my Windows installations on 2 systems. I STRONGLY suggest using this on a system that is wiped clean already. Make sure you’re familiar with your BIOS settings. The first one I get worked until I rebooted. It got worse, and worse. By the time I received the replacement, I decided that after reinstalling windows and losing everything due to it writing to the UEFI firmware, I’ll pass, and create my own instead.

It’s so-so
If you don’t want to do all the work then this will do the job, too many duplicates and a lot of roms that don’t work (specially arcade)
