Great Desktop!
Good desktop so far. I really love the ease of use of my new computer. Everything is running extremely smoothly and every execution that I make is totally streamlined and smooth as silk, not to mention very fast. It also runs silently and is extremely lightweight and doesn’t heat up like older computers that I’ve had. It wasn’t until I got this computer did I realize what a total piece of rubbish my old one was. The only little issue that I am having with this one is keeping it in sleep mode; for some reason it wakes itself up occasionally but that may be a settings issue that I haven’t fixed yet. I recommend this to anyone who wants a basic simple computer that does everything – and more.

Used computer! External, plug-in DVD/CD. Beware!
Very disappointed! First, these are USED desktop computers. They are not new! Don’t even know if they were refurbished and/or tested to ensure they are working properly. Second, the advertised DVD/CD is an external, plug-in USB type. The type that costs about $20. It is not built in like advertised! Nice computer. Works very well but definitely not what is advertised.

Sold with a warranty about to expire.
It took a while before I had occasion to use the DVD drive and the computer doesn’t see the drive at all. I ran the HP troubleshooting tools and discovered the warranty on the machine expired over a year ago. Terchnically new, but not according to HP.
