This little laptop works good is light weight and does very well for my needs

Good laptop for the money
I like the color and smaller size. I received it in one day. I do miss a lighted keyboard, but I’ll get used to it. The set-up took me a long time; tedious, but that’s probably just me. I thought it came with virus protection, but not sure; ignore the “new McAfee” purchase emails if you already have it on your previous computer. I had to add this laptop by phone since I was getting emails from Dell and McAfee, and I didn’t know which was which. Calling McAfee was more helpful than HP in this regard. This laptop takes longer to boot up than my Dell did. Microsoft 365 is already loaded. All in all, this is a good laptop for the money. It’s all I need for day-to-day emails and such.

I purchased this laptop to use for school and work. It’s a pretty good laptop. The only thing I don’t like is that it freezes sometimes. But still good. Getting one for my daughter and son do Christmas.

I have mixed feelings about this **HP 14 Ultrabook**. The **screen is not very clear** it looks dull and slightly blurry, with washed-out colors. Even at full brightness, the display isn’t sharp, and the **viewing angles are poor**, which can strain your eyes when reading for a while.The laptop is also **a bit slow** for basic tasks, and the **battery life doesn’t last long**. I find myself needing to charge it often, even with light use like browsing or doing schoolwork. That said, **it’s okay if you only need it for school**. For typing papers, assignments, online classes, and light browsing, it works. Just don’t expect a sharp screen, long battery life, or fast performance.

Great general use, not for programming
This laptop is super fast and has most of the updated technology. The battery life is great. The reason I bought the laptop was to do R Programming for school. Unfortunately some of the features of Rstudio don’t work with this laptop. If you are looking for a great laptop for general use, this is it! However if you need it for programming, I would recommend a higher quality version.
