Its a nice camera!
Now that I’ve used it for a while, I can make my review. The quality of the product itself is great. I think it is nicely built and durable. While I would’ve appreciated a cover for the lens when it isn’t in use, it isn’t something that would change my rating of it. The battery life is great! I’ve charged it once and I haven’t needed to charge it again so far. It is VERY easy to use. Connecting it to the app was easy enough and using it was easy as well. The picture and sound quality is where it loses a star. I’m not sure if its that I’m not used to action cameras because I’ve always used DSLR and Mirrorless but the picture quality isn’t too crazy. It’s just okay. I love how compact it is and how easy it is to carry it around which is why I wish it had a cover for the lens.Do I think the price is too steep? Yes! Considering this is a smaller model and doesn’t have a lot of things I think it should he cheaper but so far I’m enjoying it.

Nice and compact GoPro for on the go
I didn’t think this would replace my Hero 13 in my pack, but for certain tasks, it may have. I usually wear my GoPro on a head mount, and having a light attached, is something I didn’t know I was missing. This is like having a GoPro and a headlamp all in one unit. The light isn’t super powerful, and certainly not a straight up headlamp replacement, but it’s enough to help me see around when I’m in the tree stand looking for snacks. Yes, It’s not super powerful, but its plenty to take some close range footage in low light situations.I love how small and light this camera is (93g vs 154g of Hero 13). This is going to be perfect for backcountry hunts when I am backpacking in the mountains and am concerned about every ounce adding pounds to my gear. The smaller size also means that I can fit it into the smaller pouches on my pack that were slightly too small for the Hero13. This camera still produces pretty good quality and maintains water protection without a case for up to 16 feet (33 feet for Hero 13).You do give up some items with the LIT Hero. For instance the Hero13 lenses do not work on the LIT. The battery is also not removable, yet still uses Enduro battery technology, and thus I can’t use all the new removable Enduro batteries I just bought. This isn’t the biggest deal in the world, but it limits the recording time to whatever battery life is in the camera, instead of being able to hot swap batteries and keep rolling. You will also have to give up the nice front facing screen of the Hero 13, which is replaced by the light on the LIT. Photos will only be at 12MP versus the Hero 13 which is 27MP. Video also peaks at 60 FPS in 4k which is half of the Hero 13 which comes in at 120 FPS at 4k. Stabilization is done post-produciton rather than the “Hypersmooth 6.0” done in camera on the Hero 13. As far as audio quality I don’t think it’s as good as the Hero 13, but I would always recommend hooking up a microphone if audio quality is a concern.All in all, if you are ok with slightly lower resolution, battery swap-ability and giving up the front screen for a light, this camera will do you well. This camera seems to be designed for influencers and for capturing moments in all lighting conditions, but it is still a pretty rugged option that I will be throwing in my hunt pack for when the need rises. For 3/4 the price this camera is a nice value for money and gets you into the GoPro game for a decent amount less than their flagship models.

Best entry level action came that’s of excellent value
This GoPro LIT Hero is of excellent craftsmanship!First and foremost this is an entry level GoPro model so if you’ve owned or have fallen in love with the pro model this isn’t for you.I myself have had the pleasure of owning the Hero 11 and despite the Hero LIT being far from superior I love this model.Perspective is everything and understanding what it is you’re considering ordering prior to ordering by reading the product description and specs will ensure that you’re happy with your purchase.The Hero LIT is more like the Hero LITE for its a stripped down version of the Hero 11 and doesn’t have all the features of the “pro” model. It doesn’t have Linear mode which isn’t so much a problem for me because the fisheye distortion can be quickly adjusted in post production/editing which is as easy as clicking a button. In fact most editing software have a GoPro lens correction adjustment.What sets this model apart from other models is the fact that it’s compact, lightweight and is equipped with a built in fill light which is super bright; some would say blinding but that’s the downfall of any and all on camera lights. This light isn’t intended to be a key light it’s designed to be a fill light and when used properly it functions very well while helping to create quality captures.The battery life on this is great! I attached it to my car and took it on a fall foliage drive throughout PA and even in 4K I got almost 4hrs of recording out of it. Quality light is the key to getting great results so if you own stand alone continuous video lights you will have no problem getting awesome footage from this.Overall I’m very happy with this compact GoPro. I ordered it with the intent of mostly using it indoors in controlled lighting settings and it’s perfect; the image stabilization is on par with the Hero 11 and 13 but I would suggest the Hero 11 or 13 if you’re looking to capture action sports for this model does not have a zoom feature and is best suited for ups close subjects. For the money I think this GoPro is of excellent value and I would highly recommend it.

Es una cámara muy limitada, se calienta muchísimo en un uso normal y la opción de “cámara lenta” no toma los videos en cámara lenta. Esta padre la luz led incluida pero si eso compromete otras funciones, no resulta una innovación.
