Excellent Mini PC for the price!!
I purchased the Nucbox M5 Plus and this is an amazing mini PC. This PC comes equipped with an AMD Ryzen 7 5825U processor with 32GB RAM and a 512GB SSD Harddrive. It has a Dual 2.5Gbps NICs and Triple 4K Display (HDMI, DP, & USB-C DP), WiFi 6E, USB3.2, & Bluetooth 5.2. The setup was fast and painless. Windows 11 Pro installed very quickly and without issue. I found the system to be very fast and responsive. I can open dozens of browsers, videos, & apps and this thing is still super fast & responsive. The unit is silent and tiny and once mounted behind a monitor with minimal cabling it doesn’t clutter your desk. I am running two 27″ 4K monitors on the system. The sound is amazing in both videos and audio content. I like to listen to music loud when working and this PC has excellent sound quality.The system came with a VESA mounting kit so no need to order one separately if you want to mount it on the back of your monitor. You will have to remove 2 of the foot pads to attach the VESA bracket or you will need to get longer mounting screws to attach the bracket to the PC.Overall I am EXTEMELY happy with this mini PC. I am an IT professional and have multiple mini PC’s on my network and I recommend them to my clients frequently. GMKTec is an excellent company with good, solid, quality products and I highly recommend them to anyone wanting a quality PC with a tiny footprint. I really cannot recommend this company enough! I have at least 5 of their Mini PC’s of various models. Will definitely be ordering from them again in the future!

Excellent miniPC for some basic gaming, and expandability out of the box.
I previously had another PC from GMKtec (Nucbox G2) that I’ve been using the last couple of years with an Intel N100 and 12 gb of ram. For what I’ve needed it for it’s been great, which is mostly just basic web browsing and day-to-day needs. For a while it was my Plex server, which was where it shined.This however, by comparison is an absolute BEAST. I’ve always gamed mostly on consoles over the years, but I’ve occasionally picked up stuff on Steam sales. I had a gaming laptop a while ago, but even that had its limitations (it’s a pretty old laptop at this point).The AMD iGPU on this is awesome, and it runs my backlog of games without a problem. Emulating games from older consoles has been working without a hitch too. Set up was simple! Plug it in, turn it on, and go through the start up prompts like you would any windows PC. Speaking of, it came shipped with Windows 11 PRO and runs it perfectly so there should be no issues with future Windows updates. For basic day-to-day tasks this PC runs great, is super snappy, and performs lightning quick.In my testing I tried a 3DMark test and got some super impressive looking results (video provided). The app did end up crashing (likely temperature/overload related as the app itself has a limit rather than the PC), but games still run without much of an issue. For the more intensive games, the PC does come with an oculink port that you can connect an eGPU to so you can use a desktop GPU and the appropriate dock. GMKtec also sells an all-in-one eGPU that I’m considering in the future to be able to play even more things, and offload any GPU duties on the external device.Versus other minipc’s it’s on the larger side (see my pictures versus the Nucbox G2), however that’s what you get with this hardware and I love that his a cooling system built in (unlike my previous Nucbox) so it never feels like it’s going to overheat (at least in the testing I did). I did notice there is a slight ringing sound, which is I assume the fan working, so if you are sensitive to noises like that it may bother you. I, however, did not think it was a huge problem given what you get. Even while gaming the CPU never really got to 100% usage, and 32gb of RAM is a huge net positive for having working smoothly.For the price and what you get out the box its a no-brainer to pickup, especially if you’re a gamer who wants to save space.

I really like this mini pc. It’s larger than most, but that is not a bad thing. The larger size helps with cooling. The fans have been quiet with how far as I have pushed this pc. I have done some gaming on it just playing CK3 and it’s was fine.
