Great Watch with a Slight learning Curve
The Good:Battery Life: Outstanding — easily lasts 5+ days on a charge (I haven’t even let it drop below 10% yet).Display: Crisp, sharp, and vibrant. Easy to read indoors and outdoors.Health & Activity Tracking: The built-in features are intuitive, accurate, and cover the essentials very well.The Challenges:The first software update was rough — it took nearly 12 hours to complete. During this time, I couldn’t customize the watch face or explore all the options.The interface isn’t very intuitive at first. There’s a bit of a learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it works smoothly.Bottom Line:The Garmin Venu 2 is a fantastic smartwatch, boasting excellent health features, impressive battery life, and a high-quality display. Be prepared for a lengthy initial update and some time to get accustomed to the menus. Once set up, it’s reliable and enjoyable to use.

A great Deal
Works very well, except WiFi connections take a few tries to succeed (my old Venu 1 works right away). I suspect this is what caused the return after the original sale and it was deemed acceptable at refurb time. In any event, I don’t really use WiFi anyway (music comes from my computer instead of Amazon or Spotify) and i am very happy with the physical condition (perfect) and functionality for the money.

Refurbished=good
Did the factory refurbished which I haven’t done before and it turned out great. Happy with all of the features and battery life. It’s a slight step up from my old Vivo Active 2.The only thing I don’t like is the band is very stiff, but I could always buy a replacement.

Great fir Strava (in spite of the lawsuit).
Great smartwatch!! Bought it to link to Strava to record my rides and it works perfectly—plus, it’s nice to have the heart rate monitor on my wrist to know when I am getting close to pushing too hard.

This battery lasted over a week! The other watches i tried only lasted a couple days. I havnt tried answering phone with it yet and I’m still trying to figure out how to use the apps. Damn thing had me breathing for 20 min before I figured out how to turn it off. Whew.

The watch itself seems to be “ok”. I probably will not go with Garmin again though. I’ve had a Samsung Gear Watch that lasted me 8 years before the heart monitor quit working which is a huge thing for me due to my heart issues.Issues I have with this watch: the Bluetooth SUCKS! My phone will be sitting in my lap and if I cross my arms, my watch goes off saying “Phone Disconnected” and as soon as I uncross my arms “Phone Connected.” I swear half my battery is worn down due to just the Bluetooth cutting out. I can’t even leave the room without it doing so. My last watch I could go anywhere in my house and even go out to my car and it would stay connected with NO issues.Very few settings to really do anything with the watch itself. I can’t go into my contacts to send texts or call someone.Accessing my notifications after they leave the screen is a PAIN!To charge it, you need a specialty charger and can’t get a dual wireless charging pad like I have for my phone and my old Samsung Watch, so if I’m leaving town, I HAVE to make sure it’s charged or carry a separate charger for it.If you want just a super plain watch with really no interaction. Then this watch would work for you I guess. But not for me. But as much as I spent on it, and gave it a good try for awhile to see if I could get “accustomed” to it, I can’t return it as it’s out of its window so I’ll iust have to deal with it for awhile.
