I really was excited to purchase this case and put it on my phone. I opened the case, and the lines are all cricked on the phone case so trying to put my octobubby on was such a pain. It didn’t line up at all and makes everything look cricked. It’s easy to put on your phone and quality isn’t horrible. Light weight. Just wouldn’t have bought if I knew it was gonna look like this. Also, it’s a matte feeling, not glossy. Misleading photo for sure.

The stripes caught my eye first, but what kept this case on my phone was how it feels day to day. When you pick it up, there’s this soft grip on the sides that makes the phone feel more secure without getting sticky. The back is smooth and cool, which somehow makes it nicer to hold when you’re scrolling or taking photos for a while. It doesn’t feel bulky, and it doesn’t hide the shape of the phone, which was something I cared about more than I expected.I use MagSafe a lot, mostly in the car and on my desk, and the magnet in this case locks in with a solid snap. You can feel it grab when you drop the phone onto a charger or mount, and it stays put even when you hit a bump or reach for the phone quickly. There’s no sliding or that awkward half connection that some cases give you. It ends up feeling more like part of the phone than an extra layer stuck on top.The pattern looks better in person than it does in photos. The blue is softer and not loud, which makes it easy to live with. It works whether you’re at work or out somewhere more casual, and it doesn’t get old after a week. I’ve had friends pick up my phone and comment on it without realizing it’s even a case at first, which says a lot about how clean it looks.The buttons are another thing I didn’t think about until I noticed them. They press with a clear click and don’t feel mushy. You don’t have to push hard to adjust the volume or lock the screen, and the cutouts around the speakers and charging port line up exactly where they should. It’s the kind of detail you only notice when it’s done right.After using it for a while, the lighter parts of the stripes can show small marks if you toss the phone into a bag with keys, though they wipe off easily and haven’t left anything permanent. The case itself hasn’t stretched or loosened, and it still fits as snug as it did on the first day.It’s easy to forget you’re even using a case because it doesn’t get in the way. Your phone feels protected, it charges the way it should, and it still looks like something you chose, not something you settled for.

Great little iPhone 13 case. Magsafe is strong. The camera lenses are protected with the extra lip. The screen is protected. The buttons are easy to press, I’ve used some cases where buttons suck to press and this is not one of them. The lightning port is accessible with any charge cable I have. The material is strong and it’s protected my iPhone from a drop from waist height to a hard floor. The design looks amazing, it reminds me of a retro ice cream parlor.

I chose a “blue & white” that fits my old iPhone 13 Pro perfectly and looks great with the phone’s ice blue finish peeking through the lens window. Photos don’t really capture the colour and of course everyone sees it differently: To my eye, these stripes are a subtle lavender in bright light and grey under dim lighting.This case definitely adds some heft to the little iPhone 13, but I actually wanted that as the phone was flying out of my hand too easily and often. I’ve been going without a case since tossing an expensive leather one that looked grubby and gross within a few months. This case has a clean look that I expect will last, as it can be wiped down. It snaps onto the phone snugly; no warning signs that it might break down and become loose.As for grippiness, it’s somewhere between my old leather case and a bare phone; I find it’s a good balance. Slippy enough to pop it in a pocket easily but with enough grip to feel secure when using the phone one-handed. Everything works without any case-imposed obstacles: Plug in with cable, charge on magnetic pad, volume, power, mute button, all good.Other reviewers have noted the stripes aren’t perfectly aligned to the phone’s edges. That is correct, although I wouldn’t have noticed if they didn’t point it out. Now that I see it, I’m not bothered by it and in fact I like how it looks on the sides.

This case is nice and durable for my iPhone 14, it’s also thick enough that my back camera does not come into contact with the surface that I’m placing it on. Which is great because I would not have to worry about my back lenses getting scratched. It feels very sleek because it does have a matte finish.The side buttons are easily accessible, other cases you need to really press on them. The only thing that I have about this case is that I ordered yellow but in person it’s more like a peachy skin tone color. Other than that I have no complaints!
