This + Sony A1 is a match made in heaven
Where to begin, this has become my daily use gimbal.From the disconnecting handle, to the added pieces the kit gives you. This really is an all in 1 use gimbal that can handle everything. Having the handle in your hand is a game changer for low shots and even setting it on a tripod to follow and pan. The app covers all the bases you need and its surprisingly not that heavy for a bigger gimbal. Motors feel smooth and handle the weight of a 4lb camera with ease. Even with a zoom lens that moves it doesnt wobble to give way. Which is huge.Ai tracking works like a charm, and the build is solid. They def have more metal in mind which I personally like. Setting up took no time. Put your mounts and balancing took less than 3 minutes. Battery life I’ve used this for 5 hour days and had no issues. As far as pricing, for the cost/value ratio, this is hands down the best gimbal you can find for this price point.Also the travel case has everything nicely separated and each piece has its own slot or pocket.

Another excellent scope gimbal. I’ve used the SCORP series gimballs on pro shoots for years now and they are the best in their price range. The Scorp 3 does not disappoint!The motors are robust and the movement is magically fluid, it can handle even big DSLRs.This is my new go to for mid to low moving shots. Nothing beats this gimbal at getting low angle moving shots! Using it on an individual film now! The AI tracking is among the best.A pro tool for serious videographers!

The FeiyuTech Scorp 3 is a solid little gimbal that makes filming way easier. It’s light, quick to balance, and the built-in screen plus side handle really help when you’re moving around. Battery lasts a good while, and it handles bigger lenses better than you’d expect. The menus take a bit to get used to, but once you do, it’s smooth sailing. Great pick if you want pro-level stabilization without lugging around a huge setup.

An Excellent Gimbal That Can Hang With Any Brand!This is one of the many FeiyuTech gimbals I own, from the first Scorp thru the C2, Scorp 2, and now the Scorp 3 series, I have had great luck and results with them. I also own a number of other brand gimbals, from entry level no names to top of the line cinema grade, and these FeiyuTech products really pack a lot of value into them, easily competing with gimbals that sell for around the $1000 range.They have continually advanced these gimbals with each new generation getting more features added in. This generation brings the new AI tracking features that are definitely an upgrade over the first gen. Tracking of faces is much better, with is being able to keep on the face in the majority of shots, even allowing the face to turn away briefly and still be tracked when it returns. While it does have a much better system, there are still the occasions where the AI features whow their age. or lack of it, as we all know these are new developments and technologies that will get better with time,I do expect there to be some minor issues. For me, the Ai tracking does a good job under most uses, but it does struggle to the point of needing to be turned off in shots where there are a number of people. I shoot a lot of car events, from races to shows, and I found that shooting crowds was probably the worst offender for the AI system. It seems to see all the faces, and movements or gestures of everyone in the crowd, and it will try to get a gesture from anyone in the shot. It seems to confuse the AI system with so many people all looking different ways, holding hands in different poses and the AI can freak out so to say, trying to follow the commands it is seeing. It will turn tracking on and off quickly, try to reframe and more, so to keep it happy and keep my sanity, I found turning off the AI when shooting crowds to work best. When using it for 1 or 2 subjects it works very well, easily tracking a single person I chose in a skate park with others present, but not in frame enough to bother the AI.The motor system seems to have gotten some fantastic upgrades on this version, with it actually requiring less motor power for the same load per the menu power settings, a Blackmagic PYXIS 6K typically with prime lens that weighs in at 6.6 pounds with its lens, cage and vmount, this Scorp 3 just feels much smoother and more responsive than ever before. With rapid changes of directing the gimbal never gives me a hard stop, only a smooth fluid change of direction, that directly matches the input signal I give it. As with any gimbal there is a learning curve, these are very sensitive to user input, the faster and harder you twist the pan handle to move is directly proportional to the amount of force the motors will exert in the arms and camera. A smooth and steady input from you is really the most important thing to getting smooth and steady footage, and with a bit of practice anyone can use a gimbal like a pro.This kit form is a great combination of the things you need to successfully get stabilized video and camera shots, with the extension pole and strap/sling being the most important for use and the case for traveling to shoots. The case lets you pack everything the gimbal might need all in one case that easily straps onto my other photg bag, for an easy tag along.

Pan axis lock needs work, otherwise a great gimbal!
Check your locks!The pan axis lock doesn’t catch like the other two.I never had this issue with the Scorp 2 or Scorp 3 Mini Pro! Small oversight in manufacturing I guess.Otherwise flawless imo.

Ich habe den kleinen Bruder bei einem Kollegen von mir ausprobiert.Daraufhin hab ich mich dazu entschieden, mir diesen Gimbal zu kaufen.Er ist natürlich ne ganze Ecke größer, aber das ist garnicht so schlimm.Die Handhabung ist wirklich 1a und die Fernbedienung ist auch ein Traum. Hab ich so bei noch keinem anderen Gimbal gesehen.Das Trackingtool sieht nicht nur besser aus als bei DJI, sondern ist ultra schnell und sehr zuverlässig.Alles in allem ein super Gimbalsystem.Benutze ihn mir meiner Sony Alpha 7 IV und einem Tamron 28-75mm f2.8.Die Kombination kommt dann auf zwei Kilo
