The first two trays are cut out. The bottom is pluck
This is an excellent product. The foam is durable. The first two trays are cut out, and a perfect size. The bottom is pluck. The case is solid, and when it is closed the top fits into a slot on the bottom handle, so it will not open by accident. It locks easily. I have not had the case in the rain, so I cannot tell if it is totally waterproof.I do not recommend using this case for GW miniatures. There are too many brittle pieces that stick out from the miniature base on GW fix. Parts of the figs will break off.

Great product, durable, customizable!
As of 05Dec23, I’m the proud owner of two of these cases, they’re perfect for my Battletech Miniatures. The case is sturdy, convenient, and customizable!I’ve recommended this case to my friends, because I’ve seen them bring their miniatures to game nights in cardboard boxes and I’ve seen their minis snap and break via transit. Never a problem with me.HOWEVER, My only issue is that this newest case I’ve bought I had to make some custom cuts to the two pre-cut trays that hold 40 minis, and I messed up resulting in the structural integrity of those trays to be compromised. I’ve reached out to Casematix though their website’s “Contact Us” form and It’s been over a week with no response, and I’ve also called them twice, one time their voicemail was full, the other time I left a message, and as of yet have not received any response.I would love to buy replacement pre-cut trays for the top two layers, but the website’s replacement tray page is a bit confusing, both replacement options for the SDO16-MINIS-CUSTOM look to be the bottom tray, not the pre-cut 40. One of the two options does have a single picture of the pre-cut 40 trays along with the deeper bottom tray, but I’m still unsure if that’s the right product. Not something I’m willing to gamble $20 on without clarification.I had a small issue getting a hold of customer service because a mistake I made, but they did eventually contact me and we got it resolved! So my original 4/5 has become a 5/5!

Quality case for the price, but one flaw…
Case works as advertised.It is sturdy, hard plastic with decently a built construction. One concern of the construction of the case itself is that the latches may eventually wear or break off. I have not had this happen yet but I could see with extended use over time this being an issue.The foam on the inside is of good quality and does exactly what it’s meant to do. It will protect your Minis and keep them organized.For the price it’s not that bad of a purchase. Now for the complaint, the biggest issue this case has is a lack of firmness in the foam itself. I understand the foam needs to be flexible to account for, protect, and provide absorption for everything that it contains. However this lack of firmness on the bottom layer of each foam pad allows for the the upper pads to be bent upwards due to larger Minis that are stored on the bottom portion of the case. Please see reference photos for what I mean.When I had originally purchased this case it had shown that larger Minis could be safely stored in the bottom so I assumed that i could store larger minis with a base attached and it would not be a problem, however, it does push the upper layers upwards. An easy fix for this would be to add a small shelf insert or something that would allow for more space between the bottom layer and the smaller miniature foam layers that go on top of it. Of course if you don’t store your Miniatures with the bases on them then you won’t have a problem but I don’t know many DMS that do that. We tend to want to have them ready to be used.Overall a good product but if i were to purchase again I would highly recommend this be used for small minis only, even on the bottom storage portion.

This case is perfect for transporting my figures and vehicles for Warhammer 40k. The design is great and the hard shell is very sturdy. The figures fit perfectly.

Protect your miniatures with this case
Great value for the price. The case is sturdy and the handle clasps are firm when locking into place. Each of the pre-cut sheets provide adequate space and can be trimmed or modified to adjust for an unusual shaped miniature, but out of the nearly 80 figures that I used to test, I was surprised that all fit well. The last layer, which is customized or pre-cut for larger figures or models was what I was looking for. It is is easy to estimate what sizes that I would need and cut along the pre-fabricated lines, but if you don’t need it right away, it looks great and adds plenty of cushion. Overall, this was worth investing in and will share pictures soon.

Great Deal for Carrying Case
This a large, sturdy case for miniatures. I also ordered one from Feldherr, and it was much smaller and not as sturdy. Great carrying case for the price.

Great storage for many fully painted and based minis!
I like the large amount of space that there is for many different types of minis. I like go fully base as many minis as I can and was concerned about storage after I got started. This case is the perfect solution. With the custom space layer at the bottom, it not only fits your average mini but fithe the medium and large ones also. Once I get more done and eventually run out of space in this case I plan on purchasing a second. The only concern is that the hindges in the back of the case are plastic and later done the line may become week after long use. But ill cross that bridge when it happens. All in all a great travel case for you away games and a safe storage container while not playing.

I can fit 5 or 6 blood bowl teams in this bad boy, with space for big guys on the bottom pluck and pull layer. Room for dice and some lists on top as well. Nice and sturdy – I’m not worried about things moving around.I just wish I had bought more when they were $60.

Nice hard case (produced in China) but terrible finish on the inside foam layers. Layers were not glued straight onto eachother and came off on 2 of the 3 blocks. Minis do fit fairly snug, and the bottom layer is easy to adjust.

This case is perfect for storing my old Heroquest minis. Nearly all fit into pre done spaces and the larger miniatures were easily accommodated by the custom layer on the bottom. Well worth the money spent!

Great for dnd minis, top 2 sheets will hold small and medium minis and bottom is great to hold a bunch of large minis, huge minis(3” bases) won’t fit in this style of case with out cutting parts of one of the 2 top sheets but all in all amazing case and worth every dime prob will keep an eye out for a 3rd if they go on sale
