Good budget headset with quality audio & output, but build materials seem subpar
I’m certainly no audiophile, but the sound quality is good. It’s similar to every other (more expensive) gaming headset I’ve used, and the stereo sound allows me to hear which direction everything is coming from. The mic makes my voice come through very clearly to my friends – they say they can’t even tell I’m wireless, which is a pretty big deal. I have a small head, so my main complaint is the same I have for every headset – it doesn’t squeeze my ears tight enough to keep the top part from causing pressure pain after awhile. Overall quite comfortable though.I docked the star due to build quality. The spiral wires that connect each side to the top are exposed and rub a bit, and they feel very flimsy… they will almost certainly wear out from regular use and break, and then… I guess the whole headset will be useless? It’s all cheaper looking/feeling plastic, the silver bits that look like metal are plastic. Just overall does not have the aesthetic of a nice solid piece of equipment.Overall, this is a great budget headset with standout features, but I wouldn’t expect it to last years and years of regular gaming use.

I’m not an audiophile first of all but I found the sound for this gaming headset to be just average. Basically it’s not doing very well everything that it claims to do. It can do it, just not well. As for being lightweight, it’s not even the lightest. Actually it’s heavier than another pair of headset I have that is marketed as lightweight. At 0.6lb (I only have a scale for luggage) it’s heavier than the 0.4lb one I have. It’s also very bulky. The aluminum frame in the headset that makes it look bulky. The rgb on the side looks nice but I can’t see it when I’m wearing it so kind of useless. I like that the mic is detachable though since I don’t use it often. It doesn’t come with a stand or a storage bag. I think for the value of this headset there are better on the market done by less known brand names. If you have a bigger head than me then it looks fine but on me it looks ridiculously big. The foam ear pads are comfortable though. I didn’t take any stars off because it is what it claims to be and it does what it claims to do. It’s just not better than the competition at this price point. It does connect to more than one device though, I have it connected to my phone and my laptop.

I was happy to play a few games, and listen to quite a few tunes, to test the voracity of this Wireless Headset ( see photos ). From my observations, inspections, and initial usage, I can confirm that the Headset features; vast multi-platform compatibility; an aluminum-alloy frame and comfortable headband with foldable ‘protein leather’ fabric covered memory-foam ear-cushions; 50mm dynamic drivers producing a nicely balanced mix of clear highs, solid mids, and deep bass; connect via Bluetooth 5.3, 2.4GHz wireless ( with 20ms latency ) or the included multi-platform USB cable; removable single mic; dynamic RGB lighting modes; super-fast charging of the 1000mAh battery, providing hours of usage; software adjustable equalizer settings and customizable sound profiles. I dislike the relatively bulky sizing, the exposed coiled wiring and obvious cost-saving build. Recommended for a budget-minded purchase.

The attack shark lineup is a great budget pick and the G800 wireless gaming headset is no different. The pros and cons as I see them are as follows:Pros:- Great value for money – at the low pricepoint you get decent performance and looks with the option of both wireless and wired modes- Microphone quality is exceptionally clear, making the wireless connection indistinguishable from a wired one.- Comfortable fit on my earsCons-As expected for the budget price point there were tradeoffs made on build quality.- I find the foam to be a bit insulating and it starts to warm up my head after a while- Controls can take a bit to respond- 7.1 audio is not real 7.1Overall these headphones meet my expectations for a budget class wireless headset with a microphone.
