Definitely worth the price, despite such low space!
So as much as I absolutely love this Aegis flash drive, I want to start off by saying that for the price that these cost, they could have made it in 16 or 32 GB at the very least as memory costs are way down!Now for the rest of the review! You absolutely MUST read ALL of the instructions BEFORE you try to use it. While you’re reading the instructions, plug the device into a USB port and don’t do ANYTHING with it until you’re done with the instructions. This will give time to charge the internal battery.Ease of use: Once you’ve read the instructions, setting up your own passcode is relatively easy and is done right on the device itself WITHOUT it being plugged in (again why it’s so important you charge it first while reading the instructions).This device is packed with soooo many security features that can be 100% customized to YOUR liking. This isn’t an imitation or off-brand device where you stuck using THEIR software or only being able to setup 1 key. You can literally set a self-destruct code so if you have sensitive data and someone is trying to take it, type the code and it wipes itself. NONE of the data is recoverable, even by forensic computer scientists. That’s why Aegis is the #1 preferred by the government.

Maximum safety achieved (for now)
It came with a completely empty battery. I was worried it might be defective so i started googling and reading the manual. Turns out I had to leave it around 4-5 hours to use it. Other than that the product is great. Its value for money is good and it arrived in a brand new condition. It looks pretty solid and the protective rubber does the job when mixed with other stuff in your bag.

The setup was a little confusing as I don’t follow instructions well. So I am not gonna fault the device or instructions. Was able to reset and try till I got it. What was confusing is my previous devices only had one PIN, this one has an Admin PIN and User PIN. I am only using the Admin PIN. Once I got the hang of it, it was simple to use. I have 2 of these as I feel backup is always critical. I have my really important info stored on it and always carry one with me when I leave the house. Recently I went on a trip and put both in my Safety Deposit box in case something happened. One tip, grow your thumbnail to press the buttons. They are close together and I find that a good sized thumbnail works well to select the right buttons.

Simple and Effective Secure Storage
This is a clever way to keep files secure especially when transferring between computers. Keypad locked, I can feel safe that I won’t be committing any HIPPA violations by temporarily storing a patient’s file on it.

Mi serviva una pendrive criptata con un grado di sicurezza abbastanza elevato e dopo una attenta ricerca sul web e confrontando svariate recensioni ho optato per la Apircorn Aeigs ASK3-NX.La configurazione nonostante i miei timori è risultata abbastanza facile. La pendrive è totalmente in metallo e ha una copertura in materiale plastico. Il mio giudizio non può essere che positivo.
