Excellent choice!
I was down to one controller on the ol PS4. I had taken it apart 3 or 4 different times to clean it and/or fix it. Finally, the battery decided to give up the ghost; I ended up having to charge it up after only about 3 hours after full charge.Finally decided to spring for some new ones, and these were my selection. I am really glad that I chose these. So here is the list:Pros:*Excellent battery life.*Great build quality*Texture better than the original (in my opinion ofc)*Printed graphics applied with precision and obviously made to last the lifetime of the controller*Buttons and sticks all feel niceCons: After a few months, one controller picked up an intermittent glitch, and displays the battery as full 3 bars, even when it is 2 minutes from dying. The other is perfect still. I am not going to ding the controllers for this, since only one did it, and it could just be a fluke.All in all, these controllers and excellent replacement, and have not failed to meet my expectations. I just keep them both charged after use, so the battery indicator issue is not an issue. I would 100% buy these again. No question.

Aesthetically great, functionally lacking
Edit: we used the reset button on the back of the controller and the X button seems to be working fine now. Not sure how long it’ll last, hopefully a while.Connected just fine to our PS4 when using the provided cord. Absolutely love the look and feel of the controllers so much so that my kids wanted to trade theirs for these ones. However we considered returning them because the X button on one controller stopped working after about 20 hours of use. I guess you get what you pay for, but $20 a controller should last several months minimum in my opinion. I expected better based off of the sales and number of reviews.

Great alternative to an OEM dualshock4
Great device! Got it about a week ago and so far, it’s been great. Everything feels nice and tight on it with no drift on the sticks. Feels good in the hand. A great alternative to a OEM PS4 controller which costs nearly 4x as much as this one. HUGE bonus for this controller is that it has a usb-C charging port. Only (minor) complaint is the D-pad is a little sensitive i.e. sometimes if I press down it will go down and left or down and right. Maybe that will loosen up over time. Overall, very satisfied. If you’re looking for a good, inexpensive alternative to a dual shock 4, this is the one.

I’d be happier if it worked better and was $35
I’ve gotten a string of bad official DualShock 4 controllers recently, so I decided to give this one a try. “Hey, it’s $20, worth a shot”, I said. I’ve used it for about a week so far. My honest review is that I’m… not upset, but I’m not really happy either.-The buttons take getting used to, definitely different sensitivity compared to official controllers.-The on-screen battery indicator was “full” for three days, and when I booted up my console this morning, it said “controller battery low”. I guess the good news is with that is that the battery lasted three days.-The touchpad in the middle is finicky too. I see other reviews where they couldn’t use it to type at all. Mine was usable but it was weird. This button also needs a harder press compared to official controllers.-My worst issue is the sticks. They feel great at first. I don’t know if it’s the games I’m playing or the controller, but I’m leaning towards controller. It’s like the sensitivity will change mid-play, despite updating the settings in game. For example, I’ll be mining a resource deposit in No Man’s Sky, and while holding my stick lightly and slowly moving my beam across the deposit, all of a sudden my crosshair will zoom out into the direction I’m going. Again, not sure if this is the game or the controller.-The controller FEELS great. It fits nicely in hand and it has decent heft to it as well. I like the included stickpad covers, since the stickpads are a little smaller than official ones.Honestly, I feel like if they spent a little more time fine tuning this controller with maybe better materials, this thing would rule the PS4 controller market. I’d happily pay more for it, $30-$40 even, if it worked better than it does now. I’m still torn on whether or not I want to return it. I see a lot of inconsistencies in other reviews, so I wanted to contribute my experience.
