GREAT VALUE, CAN BE USED WITH PS5 WITH BROOK WINGMAN FGC
This is a great leverless controller. I have a Razer Kitsune and, although it is good, it has several weaknesses that 8bitdo addresses with their controller.First, price… 8bitdo controller is a great value at this price and you can replace the mechanical switches.Second, it also includes wireless (not recommended if you are using them in ranked, only if you have a very electromagnetically sanitized environment). It feels solid and high quality. If I could go back I would buy this one.One big detail, this is not PS5 compatible and every in-person tournament uses PS5. I read a lot of other reviews saying that even Brook’s Wingman FGC could not make it work with PS5; I tested it with the new firmware and IT DOES WORK. YOU ABSOLUTELY CAN USE THIS AND USE IT IN PS5 WITH THE FGC WINGMAN. I downloaded the BETA firmware and I was able to use the controller in PS5 (I don’t have SF6 for PS5 but I was able to control my PS5 using 8bitdo + Wingman FGC).

Premium product at a reasonable price.
Excellent build quality, has some unexpected weight to it. RGB functions are slick. Hot swappable buttons means this will be working for the long haul. It’s extremely clicky, so thats either a plus or a minus depending on you. Easy on the fly button reprogramming. You can setup a WASD setup if you choose, or go with the “space to jump” traditional hitbox option.Only negative, no bluetooth support. Have to get the Nintendo themed one for that and that doesn’t have RGB.

Finally, Wireless Leverless!
Pros:A wireless leverless that works – Have wanted a wireless leverless for a while now, and it works great. No setup needed on my PC to play. Just worked.Build quality – Weight feels just right. Very premium feeling for its price. It’s really punching above it’s price range in this department. Feels like one of the more expensive Haute42 units.Cons:Customization – Doesnt use 24mm/30mm button caps so you can’t swap them out, and those are the part that feels cheap. Which is a shame because that’s the part you’re going to be interacting with the most to be fair. The caps are thin plastic so they have a very clacky sound to them and you can’t change them out because the size isn’t standard. Swapping out the switches will help some but not alleviate it.Software – The configuration software used to map buttons on it has very limited options for what you can do. You can only select a single input to map any button to. Which is kind of the point of those extra ones that are above and below the standard 8 and to the left of the (up) button at the bottom. So for example you cant map Medium punch (Y) + Medium kick (B) to the button directly above the standard 8 buttons. This really holds it back for me as it’s nice to have Drive Impact and parry in Street Fighter mapped to a single button. All in all its a very good product. For its price point the wireless feature alone is worth it. They could easily charge $150 for this on that feature alone. It doesn’t have as many customization options as anything Haute42/Cosmox is putting out, but $100 for a wireless leverless with this level of build quality is borderline insane. Hopefully they’ll allow us to better customize button mappings in a future software update.

Surprisingly Good. Step up in quality from the 8bitdo Fight Stick.
I typically build controllers like this, but I had to try this one. Color me shocked when one of the least expensive high end leverless controllers is also the sturdiest, and best feeling in my opinion. I dunno what type of switches are in it as I prefer sanwa typically, but they are clicky and stay in place a lot better than my bootleg Haute42 from aliexpress. I believe there must be a weighted plate inside similar to the 8bitdo fightstick, as this thing feels as sturdy as a corn fed ox. Plus wireless on xbox? It’s a dream. Even has a headset port. Hard to compete with this for the price.

Nice!
This thing is amazing. It’s thin yet heavy. It’s very sturdy. I didn’t have to connect an XBox controller first. I put the Bluetooth in and it worked. Different colors. XBOX pass card. Colicky buttoned. Multiple buttons. 8Bitdo really outdid themselves. Man! Wow! For this price. Are you kidding me?

Great quality
Premium quality controller for such a low price. I was not expecting such a good build quality for this price, but Im glad I was wrong. the build quality is top tier, the buttons are very clicky.

This looks and feels great. Fantastic lighting, thin construction, great clicky keys. Perfect for sf6.

I bought this controller for my Xbox and have been testing it mainly with Street Fighter 6 — and it works great. The build quality feels solid, the buttons are responsive, and overall it performs exactly as expected. I’ll be keeping it because it plays really well. However, I was disappointed to receive it already opened, even though I purchased it as “new.” The controller itself looked unused, but the packaging had clearly been opened before. For the full price, I expected a completely sealed product.

5/5 bang for the buckI got this leverless a couple months ago as I wanted a wireless to help keep things clean.8bitdo is known for making some solid stuff and nothing changes here, it feels well built, has a little weight it’s perfect, we have rgb all around the buttons with the option for custom settings, the buttons are the most clicky satisfying thing I’ve ever pushed. The layout is great.***works on switch, ps4-5 using the mayflash magic s like a charm. You can wire it right into the device or go wireless. Now I can use this on everything.
